 Rules

We have some rules that you'll need to know before joining and posting:

1. Posts must be at least five, long, good, detailed sentences. There isn't much of a limit to how long a post can be. So long as it doesn't end up being twice the size of one of mine, you're good.(This is a pun, as I type fast and well, so my posts tend to come out the largest of the bunch) This length also insures that when we upload chat room posts we won't get a measly little bit of roleplay and we won't have to put sections with two or three dates altogether in one.(A good idea would also be to get all your regular stuff, like Myspace or something like that, done BEFORE you go into roleplay. This makes it so that you won't get distracted and you'll post faster and better.)

2. If you have staff power, don't abuse it! One mess up could get you banned for a certain amount of time. Our criticism must be good. It must be something for the person to work off of and take in, not something like "That post sucked, do it again." Always keep criticism constructive!!!

3. Don't use this site as a promotion for yourself. If you put a link in a post, it must be to something dealing with our roleplay. Such as: fanart, dedicated lyrics, music, poems, or short stories. If we find that you are using this site to show off your own work or stories that have got nothing to do with any of this RP, you will be warned. If you do it again, you will be banned for a number of days. Continuing will get you banned for good.

4. When posting in the OOC chatter, rules must still be followed. Readers and guests may post in the OOC section if they wish. You may put comments or SIMPLE suggestions. Keep all criticism to a minimum and make sure that it's always constructive!

5. If we find that you are making bad, distasteful, or stupid posts on purpose or continue to do them after being warned, you will be banned for a number of days. If it continues after that, you will be banned.

6. When joining you MUST post an application within ONE WEEK of your joining just as a member. This means that you obviously don't have time and you need to get other things done before you come into this roleplay, or you're too lazy to do it. Your account will be deleted if it isn't done. You're welcome to join again and apply after another five days, though. This process will continue. You won't be banned if you get too busy with things that just happen to come up and you don't get the time to post. If you're just deliberately refusing to post and we suspect it or find out, we will delete AND ban you.

7.If you're not showing any interest or activity in this group(not just roleplay-wise, but as in: if I ask you to do something and a week later I ask you again and you say "I'll do it tomorrow" and continue to ignore me) I will fix whatever you've done by myself, and after I will take you down between 3-20 post counts depending on how bad it was and how long it was. If this continues to happen, you will start getting warnings. After three warnings, you will be banned for a certain amount of time. If this happens three times, your membership will be deleted completely. Every member will be treated the same!

A few facts about our roleplay(things we might do differently than others):

1. Look at our list of the characters that DON'T already have players before you post your join request, and/or ask the administrator.

2. When joining, you may only choose one character to apply as.. To get a second character you will need at least 50 posts. You can go to "Character applications" under "Joining" on the General board to apply for a second character.

3. There is a limit of only two characters per player unless permission is given otherwise. This gives others a chance at many more characters and a wider variety. (If you wish to play a character that is already taken by myself[DaniStone], Edward Elric, or Winry, you're welcome to apply as any of them[aside from Edward, Alphonse, Danielle, Mana, and Winry])

4. You MUST have one character and 100 posts to create your own character. To apply with your own character, go to "Character Biography Information" in "Character Biographies" under the General board.

5. In all posts done on the forum instead of the chat room, you MUST put a tag at the end of your post. A tag looks like this: <tag> Use this if anyone can reply. For a specific person, use <the person's name> . And if it's more than one person, and there's someone specific, put <tag/the person's name> If you don't do this, then we will modify your post to do so and send you a message about your mistake.

6. Don't forget to put your number at the beginning of your post! When you join and I reply to it, I will give you your number. Numbers help us to keep up with post counts and make it a lot easier to know who posted last and such.

**********************************************

To all those that are new to roleplay:

1. Use correct grammar. This means that you must type out "you" instead of "u" and "are" instead of "r". Don't forget to capitalize, punctuate, and space correctly as well.

2. Review your post before you press that enter or send button. This minimizes the extra work that we have to put in to get rid of spelling errors or just plain outrageous posts. Make sure it makes sense!

3. Use brackets of some sort {} [], no parentheses, as they are used in roleplay sometimes, for OOC chatter (OOC means Out Of Character. So if you're posting something as yourself, you need to do this. Ex. "{Hey, did I spell that right?}")

4. Remember to post well and have fun with it.

Keep all the rules in mind when you're on the site and in roleplay!

And a little note: Post counts won't just be considered posting on the site, but also participation in chat room roleplays. At the end of each section done from the chat room, I put who had how many posts. Post counts are kept in the "Posting/counts" message board, set out by number, email, and name.
